Dolores Huerta
In 2022, Dolores Huerta Elementary School in San Francisco broke ground on a nature play area, replacing cement and asphalt with a drought-tolerant pollinator garden. In 2024, RDH Creative designed English and Spanish signage highlighting climate resilience and community power.
The design includes an infographic of the garden’s bioswale to educate the students about rainwater runoff and its benefits for the garden. The illustrations included native plants, pollinators and the school’s mascot, a falcon.
